PRIVACY POLICY

Who we are. LuckyBite, Ireland (“we”, “us”), is the data controller for personal data collected through luckybite.me. Contact: info@luckybite.me.

What we collect. When you use our contact form we collect your business type, first name, last name, email address, phone number and company name. Our hosting provider also records technical data such as your IP address, browser and pages visited in server logs.

Why we use it and our legal basis.

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To provide our services if you become a customer: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep accounting and tax records: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • To keep the website secure and working: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To send you news and offers, only if you tick the optional box: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with. We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf: Hostinger, Forminator. Where a provider transfers data outside the EEA, it does so under safeguards approved by the European Commission, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it. Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: up to 12 months. Customer data: for the duration of the contract and 6 years afterwards for tax purposes. Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.

Your rights. You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, to object to its use, or to receive a copy in a portable format. Email info@luckybite.me. We will reply within one month.

Complaints. You can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, Ireland (www.dataprotection.ie).

Changes. We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.

luckybite.me only uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the website to work, such as keeping the site secure and remembering your progress in the contact form. These do not require your consent and do not track you across other websites.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add them in the future, we will ask for your consent first through a cookie banner, and you will be able to accept or reject them just as easily.

TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms apply between LuckyBite (“LuckyBite”, “we”), and the business that signs up for our service (“you”). The service is for businesses only, not consumers.

1. The service. We provide: QR table stands; a branded prize-wheel web page hosted on our domain; a one-off optimisation of your Google Business Profile; local keyword recommendations. The exact number of stands and the prizes are agreed in writing when you sign up.

2. Prices. A one-off setup fee of €50 and a subscription of €19 per month. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. If we become VAT registered, we will give you 30 days’ notice before adding VAT.

3. Payment. The setup fee is paid before setup starts and is non-refundable once the stands are produced. The subscription is billed monthly in advance by Stripe. If a payment is more than 14 days late, we may pause the service until it is paid.

4. Cancellation. There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time by emailing info@luckybite.me. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid, and no further charges are made. We may end the service with 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms.

5. Stands. The stands become your property once the setup fee is paid, and you can keep them if you cancel.

6. Prizes and promotion. You decide the prizes and how often each one appears, and you are responsible for honouring them. You must run the wheel as a free promotion with no purchase required. A guest’s prize must never depend on leaving a review or on the rating given. You are responsible for complying with Google’s policies and consumer law in your business.

7. Your content. You confirm you have the right to let us use your logo, name and images. We may mention you as a customer on our website unless you tell us not to.

8. No guarantees on results. Search rankings, review volume and visibility depend on many factors outside our control, including Google’s own systems. We do not guarantee any particular number of reviews, followers, ranking position or business results.

9. Availability. We aim to keep your wheel online at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be kept to a minimum.

10. Liability. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Data. Each party complies with data protection law. Where we process guests’ personal data on your behalf, we act as your processor under a data processing agreement, available on request.

12. Changes. We may update these terms with 30 days’ notice by email. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the changes take effect.

13. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.

PROMOTION TERMS

This promotion is run by (“the venue”), using the LuckyBite platform.

  1. Free to play. No purchase is necessary to spin the wheel.
  2. One spin per guest per visit, while at the venue.
  3. Prizes are those shown on the wheel and are subject to availability.
  4. Show the prize screen to staff to claim it on the same visit. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
  5. Alcoholic prizes are only available to guests aged 18 or over, and staff may ask for ID.
  6. Your prize never depends on leaving a review or on what you write in it.
  7. The venue may end or change this promotion at any time.
